  8. planets, the colors of foliage,
  9. the reactions of chemicals, or
  10. the behavior of baboons.

  13. however, differs from other
  14. fields of scientific inquiry in
  15. certain crucial respects. In
  16. other fields of science, the goal
  17. is to separate facts from
  18. illusions and to explain the
  19. objective properties or
  20. behaviors of things. The goal of
